Immunity to noise & interference

Built-in error-correction coding (ECC/FEC) gives high immunity to noise and interference — damaged data is recovered on the fly.

Multi-carrier modulation resists the frequency-selective fading caused by terrain and building reflections, keeping links alive even in NLOS environments.

System topology

Link architecture: split-frequency stealth by design

Video downlink and command uplink run on separate frequencies, independently. The one-way broadcast downlink needs no acknowledgment, so latency never grows with distance; the ground receiving station transmits nothing, staying silent and hard to direction-find. An adversary can only detect the airborne video RF — the command uplink frequency is never revealed, sheltering the link that matters most.

The resistance comes from link architecture and spectrum agility. Q3 What are the advantages in multipath (echo) transmission?
Multipath echoes from terrain, buildings and the sea surface are fatal interference for traditional single-carrier microwave links — COFDM absorbs and repairs them instead: the guard interval soaks up the timing differences of reflected signals, and error-correction coding recovers subcarriers that land on faded frequencies. That is the advantage: in the mountainous, maritime and urban non-line-of-sight environments where ordinary links fail, COFDM keeps video and data flowing — the key to long-range operation over complex terrain.
