It started with the UT-100
Starting with the UT-100 USB DVB-T transceiver, HiDes put affordable HD digital television on the amateur bands. We exhibited at HAM RADIO Friedrichshafen — Europe's largest amateur radio fair (booth D037 in 2018, D038 in 2019) — and remain active in the ham community. Narrow-band 1 MHz DVB-T is a signature capability of our gear, fitting digital video into tight amateur allocations.
BU-500 and the QO-100 satellite
The BU-500 13 cm up-converter shifts 100–950 MHz up to 2365–2500 MHz, supports SSB / CW / FM / FM-ATV and DVB modes with a freely adjustable local oscillator — built for AMSAT QO-100 (Es'hail-2), the first geostationary amateur transponder.
